When you talk to people about the use of risk strategies, the first thing that comes to mind is mitigation.
Most people call the entire process of responding to risks, risk mitigation. Reports are named risk
mitigation reports. This is not helping in making the process clear. IT has always made me a tad weary
thinking that people did not take advantage of more than the mitigation strategy but of all ten (10)
strategies available (according to the PMBOK® Guide). In this session, we will have a quick review of
those ten (10) possible strategies including mitigation to dispel the current myth that everything is about
MITIGATION.

Many of us struggle with keeping our virtual teams engaged. That transition from the in-person
events/meetings/casual gatherings to connecting through zoom, teams, or whatever the tools we're
using, has been extremely difficult. This session will get us all thinking about tools and techniques that
we can use to keep our remote teams engaged and connected.
